The Manhattan Club

Dear Friends,

I've been a New Yorker for 39 years now and I just recently discovered that NYC has timeshare.  Every time I've thought of timeshare, I've thought of condo/hotel style apartments in Florida and the Caribbean that offer two or three swimming pools, beaches, great natural outdoor attractions, perhaps some theme parks, and always hot weather.  Today I know those are just a small fraction of the diverse types of timeshares throughout the world.

Time share in Manhattan?  Even when I heard that there are timeshares in colder places, I thought the colder timeshares would be in places where the attraction was a ski resort.  I started picturing places in Colorado, Upstate New York, Canada, and other fun ski places. I then found out that large urban cities have been offering timeshare properties for a very long time.  I still had no idea we had this in New York.

I've now learned about two timeshare programs that exist in New York City.  The first is a name brand timeshare; the Hilton timeshare.  As with any other name brand, the name brings with it a hefty price tag, and is sometimes limited to the name brand itself.  The Hilton timeshare is a good program if you are prepared to pay a lot of money for it. What I also learned by researching Hilton is that there are different types of timeshare out there.  Some are deeded to a program (points or weeks) and others are deeded to a real and tangible property, with a deed, title and ownership that you can will, rent, use, gift, claim in your taxes, build equity on and even sell if the need ever comes up.

The second model made better sense to me. Today I'm speaking about The Manhattan Club.  It's a Midtown Manhattan timeshare. It has the highest satisfaction rate in the entire RCI timeshare world.  It is rated as the highest demand timeshare in the entire world. It's trade power is greater than any other timeshare.  Your one week of ownership exchanges for 2-8 weeks in any other RCI world resort, regardless of the location.  While most timeshares sell you the swimming pool, beach, and sun, The Manhattan Club sells you the opportunity to be in New York City, across the street from Carnegie Hall, up the block from Central Park, surrounded by arts, museums, shopping, shows, concerts, businesses, exclusive NYC attractions, city tours, great architecture, fine dining, fun foods, history, etc.  That's all great but I feel the greatest part of ownership in the Manhattan Club is that it gives the common folk the ability to invest their money in a Midtown Manhattan property that is deeded in perpetuity, and which is in a part of Manhattan that has NOT suffered a loss in value through the real estate crash of 2007/2008.

So what am I saying?  I'm saying that I love this product and believe in this product so much that I decided to join their sales force. I'm there now, and I'm doing well only because I'm not peddling snake oil or a Multi-Level-Marketing "opportunity."  I am selling happiness, vacation time, attainable dreams, a real investment, a solid product, and a legacy in the GREATEST city in the world.  I sell something real and tangible that works.

Why do I do it?  Because the first person I ever sold to walked out and called me a week later saying that they were starting to wonder if they had made the right choice.  I told this person to choose a weekend trip and use her RCI Points from The Manhattan Club to get her the trip. I asked her to call me when that sparkling moment made bells go off in her mind because she was now sure she had done the right thing. She used RCI to book a weekend trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.  She was standing knee high in the crystal blue Caribbean water when she felt the need to call me.  She ran out of the water and asked the concierge for a phone. She placed a long distance call that would be charged to her room. I was with a client and couldn't answer my phone. She left a message, and it went word for word as follows:

"George, I don't care that you didn't pick up because I just had that feeling you said I would have. I'm in the water, knee deep, and for the first time in a long time I'm not on vacation worrying about how much it cost me to pay for the accommodations.  I'm here paying $139 for the huge resort condominium, with automatic upgrades, for three days.  I'm not paying $139 for each day, but $139 total for all three days, and I got discounts on the flight, the food, the drinks and on the attractions.  I paid less than a 3rd of what I would have paid before, and I got 10 times as much.  George, thank you for not letting me change my mind. I hated you for talking me into this. Now I love you for not letting me talk myself out of it."

This is why I'm at The Manhattan Club.  If you want to see a full presentation to see if this is something that works for you, contact me and schedule an appointment. You have nothing to loose. It's a free presentation. You have everything to gain. It is a life changing experience.

If you are the type of individual that enjoys a good hand rolled cigar, rolled and packaged by life long, third and fourth generation cigar experts, and want to do so without having to put a huge dent in your wallet, you have to visit Richie (the owner) at Caballeros.  Located across the street from the L train Halsey stop, on the border of Brooklyn and Queens, just a couple of minutes off the Jackie Robinson Parkway.  A spot that has plenty of street parking, and is safe enough for my grandmother to walk by, this place is ideally situated to make everyone happy.  I love visiting the guys at this cigar shop on Thursdays for their live web show, or Fridays after work.  It's a great way to unwind.  Obviously, if you are not a cigar smoker this place is NOT for you.  But for those that do enjoy a good cigar here and then and don't want to go with the commercial, pre-packaged cigars sold in most smoke shops, this is your new hot spot.  OH, and please don't think that this operation is a small time operation. Richie's family is the exclusive supplier of a huge New York and Nationwide cigar scene started by Hip Hop Artist Jay-Z at this 40/40 Club.  Richie's family happens to supply some of the most upscale weddings throughout the United States. Still, because you are getting your inventory directly from the source, you can enjoy a cigar for a fraction of what commercial retailers would charge, and enjoy the cigar in the company of one of the industry's originators.  Come through and enjoy the real thing.  Tell Richie that George L.
Rosario, BIG George NYC sent you. He will definitely take care of you.
